North Dallas High School, located in a historic building within the prominent Uptown neighborhood of Dallas, is currently the oldest operating high school in Dallas ISD. Over the years a series of building additions have addressed campus needs as the population has grown, but none have used a holistic approach to create a cohesive, modern learning environment for the students. This project involved expanding the athletics and fine arts programs for North Dallas High School, while updating the existing facility to the District’s current educational standards.

The existing building renovations elevated the historic school to 21st century modern learning environments that incorporated the latest technology. The athletics and fine arts addition now house the new gymnasium, lockers, and athletics training room, as well as minor fine arts additions such as band, orchestra, dance, and theater classrooms.
