Medical City Fort Worth needed to enhance their facility with a new 104,000 square foot patient tower. This $64 million addition, funded by parent company HCA Healthcare, significantly expanded their capacity for emergency and intensive-care services.

Since its opening in 2018, the new facility has effectively met the rising demand for emergency services, which has been steadily increasing each year. The primary goal was to create additional space with improved patient access, notably doubling the size of the emergency room. With this expansion, Medical City Fort Worth now accommodates more patients transferred from surrounding hospitals, ensuring access to specialized care.

Having served the Fort Worth community for over 40 years, this expansion also marks the launch of a new liver transplant program, further enhancing their ability to meet the healthcare needs of the community.
